“Pitch In For The Parks” Initiative

Although perceiving beauty is in the eye of the beholder, maintaining beauty is in the hands of the volunteers—especially when it comes to Chicago’s parks. Gold Coast Neighbors Association invites you to become one of those volunteers by joining the “Pitch In For The Parks” initiative of the Chicago Parks Foundation. From June through October, the Parks Foundation is organizing teams of volunteers to help keep Chicago’s parks clean. The Beautification Committee of Gold Coast Neighbors is heading its own team, which will focus on the southern end of Lincoln Park between Lake Shore Drive, LaSalle Street, Clark Street, and North Avenue.
