Welcome!
Gold Coast Neighbors Association |
| Our neighborhood organization has been providing a voice for the Gold Coast of Chicago since 1957. Until now, we had been the NSALSDA. We have changed our name to Gold Coast Neighbors to more clearly reflect our membership and our mission. We have 18 streets within our boundaries, we are the heart of the Gold Coast, and we are neighbors. Being a primarily all-volunteer organization, we care passionately about preserving our heritage through education, advocacy, and beautification. We invite you to learn more about your organization by exploring our website. |
- Become involved in your neighborhood
Join a Gold Coast Neighbors' committee, attend a Chicago's Alternative Policing Strategy (CAPS) meeting, make certain your membership is current and make a donation to Gold Coast Neighbors. Beautify your garden!
- Stay informed, amplify your voice
Let us know what you think! Check the website for up to date information on issues facing our community, public meetings being sponsored by Alderman Vi Daley and Alderman Brendan Reilly and other available community resources. Read our newsletters for expanded articles.
- Meet your neighbors
Gold Coast Neighbors hosts the Evening on Astor block party, the spring fundraiser Echoes, the Association's Annual meeting and supports Mario's "Joy of Toys". See the calendar for other happenings in our area. Many thanks to our Sponsors!
- Learn about your neighborhood's history
The Gold Coast Neighborhood is one of Chicago's most treasured residential areas. Educate yourself on your neighborhood's history and its architecture. |
