Trick or Treat at "Ghouly" Park
Friday, October 31st  4:00pm to 7:30pm

Hundreds of kids joined in the fun at Goudy Park (Astor and Goethe) for the
Gold Coast’s annual “Ghouly” Park Halloween Party.

Don’t be scared! Rumor has it that ghosts and goblins, witches and skeletons haunted the park. But to keep things safe there were scores of costumed adults passing out treats to all the kids.

"I only just realized today that the Gold Coast has a website, and being a resident of the neighborhood, I wanted to participate in the festive Halloween atmosphere. So, with camera in hand, I ended up taking pictures of the jack-o-lanterns lighting the way up and down Astor Street. ... I just had a really fun evening walking around and seeing everyone enjoy the Halloween night! It reminded me of trick-or-treating in rural upstate New York! Thank you for a lovely evening.”
