26th Annual Evening on Astor
Please join us to celebrate the 26th annual Evening on Astor. The event takes place on Wednesday, September 3rd from 5:30pm to 8:30pm on Astor Street between Goethe and Banks. Rain date is Thursday September 4th.
 Gold Coast Neighbors
The Gold Coast Neighbors Association has hosted Evening on Astor since 1983. Be a part of this annual block party which brings over one thousand neighbors together for an evening of fun on Astor Street. This is a great way to meet your neighbors and support your neighborhood.

Free of charge
Tables
Tables sell-out quickly, so to avoid disappointment please reserve yours now. 8-top tables are $150; 4-top tables are $75. Should you wish an 8-top table in a specific location, such premium tables are available for $250. To make your reservation, contact Larry Gard at (312) 787-9620 and send your payment to the GCN office.
 Entertainment
Evening on Astor features musical entertainment, dancing, children’s games, clown school, and face painting which are all free of charge.
Food and Drinks
Food will be available from Mario’s Gold Coast Ristorante. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be served by the Division Street Merchants Association. There will also be ice cream, cookies and popcorn.
Angels and Ads
The Evening on Astor Program Book has an Angels list of all our neighbors who have chosen to support Evening on Astor with a financial donation. Advertisements in our Program Book are also available for purchase.

Volunteer and Donation Opportunities
We are looking for neighbors to volunteer, place an ad in our program book, donate raffle items, or help underwrite this event. We also need volunteers the day of the event to help staff:
1.) children's games
2.) popcorn stand
3.) face-painting table
4.) clean up after the festivities
