2006 Echoes "Spring Fling” |
| Echoes is our annual Spring benefit and Gold Coast Neighbors have been gathering since 1996 at historic venues in our area to learn more about our heritage, visit with our Aldermen, exchange ideas on current issues impacting the neighborhood and to raise funds that support our mission. The name of this event honors the history of the neighborhood - with reference to Echoes of the past.
In 2007, the association's 50th Anniversary was celebrated with a special evening in place of the Echoes event.
Echoes 2006 ~ "Spring Fling" was held at 3Arts on May 4th. The music of pianist Mark Burnell was featured. It was a beautiful evening to mingle throughout the historic building and its courtyard. The event provided the right opportunity to see old friends, meet new neighbors and support the organization.
In April of 2006, GCN held a unique event at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Cocktails for Art Lovers and the Curious.
Past Echoes events have been held at the Charnley-Perskey Home on Astor, the Fortnightly Club on Bellevue, the Sarah Siddons Room at the Ambassador East Hotel and Maxim’s on Goethe.
