Gold Coast Neighbors Association encourages all members to attend the Chicago's Alternative Policing Strategy (CAPS) meetings. Hear the most recent crime issues in our area and when to call 911. CAPS meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every other month at the Omni Ambassador East Hotel, 1301 North State Parkway.

The Office of Emergency Management and Communication's new system automatically alerts citizens in case of emergency via phone, pager, fax, or email. Simply go to the OEM Alert Chicago website at http://webapps.cityofchicago.org/ChicagoAlertWeb/ and then click on the "Notify Chicago" box to register for this free service.
